We understand that life often throws a ‘curve-ball’ and plans change.
Unfortunately, a cancelled appointment at short notice impacts massively on the salon and team.
With many of our Designers being self-employed, if an appointment is cancelled at short notice, especially a long one (and many clients booked in for bespoke colour or hair extensions often have up to 5 hour slots), it is difficult to fill. When this occurs, our Designers, and the salon, receive no remuneration and although we maintain a cancellation list for clients awaiting appointments, it is often inconvenient for them to fill the gap if they too don’t get enough notice!
Many of you know how hard it is to organise child care to be able to attend an appointment and the same applies to our Designers working in the salon, 3 of whom have children in childcare so they can work. With the ever rising increase in fuel, rent and mortgages (we know you know) it can be frustrating and challenging for everyone.
We do our best to accommodate last minute changes, especially where illness is concerned. However, our cancellation policy is 48 hours notice please. Any less than this will incur a 50% charge of the full appointment. Please bear in mind that a Tuesday or Wednesday appointment would need to be cancelled by 4pm on Saturday, as we are closed Sundays and Mondays. We do try to monitor emails/messages during this time, but it is not always possible.
